FIVE ELEMENT FORM

Five Element Form Yoga is a flowing movement sequence, moving between earth, water, fire, air and Akasha. The Form serves as a purification process. It is a dance that builds a rainbow bridge between earth and the heavens, connecting between the body and the mind, connecting our brain with our spirituality.
The Five element Form was originally formed hundreds of years ago in the Himalayan Mountains, and is taught today by Australian Peter Clifford around the world.

    IYENGAR

Iyengar Yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga that puts emphasis on alignment and precision in the performance of postures (asanas) and breathing (pranayama). These help gain strength, mobility and stability of the body and mind. Iyengar’s systemised asana and pranayama range from the basic to advanced, which helps ensure that students progress gradually and develop their mind, body, and spirit through a step-by-step approach. Iyengar Yoga is firmly based on the traditional eight limbs of yoga as expounded by Patanjali in his Yoga Sutras.

      PILATES

Pilates is the art of controlled movements, and when practiced with consistency, improves flexibility, strength, develops control and endurance of the entire body. Pilates emphasizes alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance. The core, consisting of the muscles of the abdomen, low back, and hips, is thought by Pilates to be the key to a person’s stability. The Pilates system allows different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty, so that a person of any age or physical condition can enjoy the practice.

        VINYASA

Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic, flowing sequence of postures (asanas), which connect between the physical body, breath (pranayama) and mind. Vinyasa creates a movement meditation, revealing that all forms are impermanent, and for this reason are not held on to.
A ‘Half-Vinyasa’ describes the sequence of poses that are performed in a Sun Salutation.

          MINDFULNESS MEDITATION

Mindfulness is a mental state, achieved by focusing the awareness on the present moment. During this meditation, which can be done while achieving any task, we calmly acknowledge and accept any feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations that come up.
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, uses a combination of mindfulness meditation, body awareness, and yoga to help people become more mindful and present in their life. Originally developed in order to assist people with pain and a range of conditions and life issues that were initially difficult to treat in a hospital setting, mindfulness is known today to have numerous physical and mental benefits in healthy adults and children.
